Will be ready in 4 weeks ...

My best friend Cindi makes this often and I have wanted to make it since the first time she talked about it. She posted on FB she was making it again and so I got motivated to do it ... finally! Its weird how excited this is making me. I love Limoncello. My guy has been to Italy and that is where he was first introduced to Limoncello .... so he is gonna ba a harsh critic after having it from the source and with the best, freshest lemons. It will be ready Feb 18th.

Tomorrow is my birthday ... turning 40. Yep thats what I said! I am not one who likes to be the center of attention so I hope its a great yet quiet day. Wouldn't mind if the day passed without my birthday being acknowledged ... crazy I know. We are going out to a very nice place for dinner where they have a delish lemon drop martini.

Changes Already

New Beginnings ...

2012 is already pushing me to make changes ... changes that I want and need to make for 2012!  Today it was confirmed .... I am going to be on the job hunt, and for real now ... see I have known this was coming. She has been absent from the office for a long, long while now. Business has slowed and she is ready for retirement.I have sent resumes out but to be honest I haven't pursued it like I was serious. I need this change for my own growth so I am looking forward to this but am also so very scared. A job change means so many things especially for me and my shy self. I embrace it but it scares the %*@! outta me! Especially with the job market as it is here but I know if I get myself out there and network it will be ok and I will be happier when it's all said and done.

new year, new fashion ...

This year I want to do something with this uber boring hair since I am working on being that stylish girl I want to be. I keep it long for my guy well me too but all I ever do is I just wash & go. I am loving all the braids everywhere. I want to learn how to french braid. My mom and grandmother use to always french braid my hair when I was growing up (my grandmother use to do a french braid crown). I have tried it on A (my soon to be but already feels like my {step ~ somehow doesn't feel right to add this word but since she has an awesome mama I have to ;0)} daughter) but can't seem to get it as my clutsy~ness seems to be in every inch of me, hehe.

I saw this braid on Gold&Gray today .... I want it!

I start the new year as a fiancee. Having been with my guy for over 3 years this is an exciting new chapter. He is truly an amazing guy and I am a most lucky girl.
